At present, the Institute has 5 provincial scientific research platforms, 25 invention patents, 8 national (industrial) standards, 8 provincial and ministerial level talent science and technology projects, 1 academician Muzafarov A.M. of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 1 national "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" leading talent, 1 professor level senior engineer, 1 innovation and entrepreneurship talent of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 Mount Taishan industrial leading talent, 1 urgently needed talent in key support areas of Shandong Province, and 3 industrial leading talents in Kitdu.

Relying on four laboratories to conduct research on key organic silicon technologies
The research institute has four research laboratories: Silicone Rubber Research Laboratory, Functional Organic Silicon Research Laboratory, Silicone Oil and Emulsion Research Laboratory, and Process Engineering Research Laboratory, forming an innovative system that closely integrates development, pilot testing, engineering scaling up, engineering design, and project construction. The research institute has established long-term and stable horizontal strategic cooperation relationships with scientific research institutions such as the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shandong University, Hangzhou Normal University, and Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, focusing on key technologies related to organic silicon copolymer materials, methylphenylpolysiloxane, functional silicone rubber and silicone oil, fluorosilicone materials, special silane coupling agents, and special catalysts, and has carried out related research projects.
Set up special funds and launch talent plans
The research institute has established the "Thousand Organic Silicon Science and Technology Innovation Talents Award Fund" and the "Organic Silicon Young Scholars Open Fund", as well as launched the "Baolongda Internal Research Talent Climbing Plan" and the "Organic Silicon Experimental Platform Sharing Plan" to attract more high-tech talents to enter the institute for scientific research work. Silicone Rubber Laboratory
The laboratory mainly conducts research on the design, synthesis, and process optimization of silicone core adhesive. Through innovation in the structural control of the base adhesive, filler modification, and optimization of functional additives in silicone core adhesive, a series of silicone rubber products with special functional groups and types are developed. Enable silicone rubber to possess functions such as light, magnetism, conductivity, heat conduction, ceramicization, radiation resistance, hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, anti fouling, and resistance to high and low temperatures, which can meet the requirements for use in complex environments. Functional Organic Silicon Laboratory
The laboratory mainly conducts basic research on the application of organic silicon molecular chemistry and function, pioneering research in molecular design, preparation, structure and performance, conducting organic silicon chemical reaction mechanism research, and preparing highly selective, efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly functional organic silicon new materials.
